BREAKING FROM THE SHACKLES OF RELIGION - 7

ETERNAL LIBERATION

Finally readers and followers of this teaching series, let us bring this matter to an end by considering the words of Paul the apostle to the Galatians…

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. STAND FIRM then, and do not let yourselves be BURDENED AGAIN by a yoke of slavery”

So then I speak from Paul’s perspective, of which it is important that you do not return into the chains of ignorance and religion after you have been saved from.

Remember that - No religion can save from sin, hell and death. Only Jesus can save.

Jesus Christ is the way to God that mankind have been searching for from ages past via several kinds of worship, spiritism, magic, and religion. This desire and search have been solved some thousands of years ago, and those who believe in the redemption work of Jesus Christ for humanity are have been freed from the burden of religion.

So we say that, this freedom is forever! It is an eternal liberation. God has liberated us by offering his son Jesus Christ for our sins. Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ is not a entering a new religion but getting freedom from religion. Jesus did not start any religion, he ended all religion.

This is because everyone who believes in Jesus Christ gets the Holy Spirit of God into their life. This is what we discussed in the previous lesson, that the spirit life is what God wants for his creation, his children…that they may be able to relate with him because he (God) is a spirit.

There are no more codes or rules, dos and donts for believers; we are saved by grace through faith not by works!

Those who receive the Spirit of God upon salvation are no longer slaves to sin, we received eternal life and the righteousness of God has been imputed unto us.

The life of the spirit, which we now live, is a life ruled and controlled by the Holy Spirit in us, we do not control ourselves anymore, and he controls us.

When you receive Christ, you receive freedom, he gives you rest.

When you break free from religion, you will enjoy God, worshiping him won’t be a challenge anymore.

When you break free from religion, you will know your identity as a believer and live the life of a Son.

Legalism and religion has robbed many believers from enjoying the Holy Spirit and the sonship life. The Holy Spirit is the best Gift ever, he is God in us. But due to ignorance, many have failed to yield to him.

My prayer is that, God will save the entire world from ignorance and religion.

God loves the world, that is why he gave his son to die for us, but Ignorance and religion have made the world not see this, this is the last enemy and we will not stop till they are destroyed.
